“Smiling Faces Sometimes” is a soul song written by Norman Whitfield and Barrett Strong for the Motown label. The song was originally recorded by The Temptations in 1971.Producer Norman Whitfield had the song re-recorded by The Undisputed Truth the same year, resulting in a number-three Billboard Hot 100 position for the group. “Smiling Faces” was the only Top 40 single released by the Undisputed Truth, and was included on their debut album The Undisputed Truth

Xaphoon Jones has cleverly blended St. Lucia‘s excellent single “We Got It Wrong” with Madeon’s stellar remix of Yelle’s “Que Veux Tu”, and the result really works nicely. The wordplay is even better though, hats off.

Xaphoon Jones è unico nel suo genere, ha saputo sapientemente miscelare St. Lucia “We Got It Wrong” con il remix stellare Madeon di Yelle di “Que Veux Tu”, e il risultato funziona davvero bene. Il gioco di parole è ancora meglio, però, tanto di cappello.

Questa canzone, mi piace molto perchè  è un crescere continuo. dall’iniziodvoe si ascolta una lenta e calma melodia, si arriva ad un mix di generi folk, indie… sembra quasi di urlare con loro in finale.
Sentendo questa canzone mi sembrava di essere sulla veranda di una casa lungo il fiume..un pò come quella di Dawson in “Dawson’s Creek”.

This song, I really like because it is a continuously growing. dall’iniziodvoe listening to a slow, calm melody, we arrive at a mix of genres folk, indie … seems to scream with them in the final.
Hearing this song seemed to be on the porch of a house along the river .. a little like that of Dawson, “Dawson’s Creek”.

E sembra di ritornare in dietro col tempo, a quando i cantanti nei loro videoclip ballavano in strada con vestiti color fluo e rigorosi scaldamuscoli appariscenti. Il tutto avvolto da capelli cotonati e trucchi leggeri ma strong nelle colorazioni.

Siamo quindi nei miti anni ’90, più precisamente nel 1989 quando sulle scene musciali neworkesy compaiono tre belle ragazze, di etnica diversa che spingono sul pulsante della dance e loro sono “Seduction”.

Seduction was a female dance-pop, urban contemporary, house, and freestyle trio from New York assembled and produced by Robert Clivillés and David Cole (later of C+C Music Factory), consisting of members April Harris (born March 25, 1967), Michelle Visage (September 20, 1968), and Idalis DeLeon (born June 15, 1966).

It seems to return back in time to when the singers in their video dancing in the street with neon-colored clothes and flashy rigorous legwarmers. All wrapped in big hair and makeup are light but strong in colors.

We are so mild in the 90s, more precisely in 1989 when they appear on the scene musciali neworkesy three beautiful girls, of different ethnic backgrounds that push the button and the dance they are “Seduction”.
